Mirador Maroc

On Morocco’s Atlantic coast, about 170 km west of Marrakech, is the delightful little town of Essaouira. With its romantic fortified medina (a UNESCO world heritage site), photogenic fishing port, French style piazzas, beautiful beaches, world class watersports, characterful restaurants, art galleries, music scene, easy-going people and excellent climate it is easy to see why so many people have fallen in love with the place.  

The Mirador Maroc apartment is located in the Eraounak district of Essaouira in the new town, 10 minutes walk to the beach and the main windsurfing, kitesurfing and surfing schools.  The apartment is set over two floors and has plenty of space for larger parties.  The apartment is cleaned daily and a local manager who speaks English, French and Arabic is available if needed.

Situated in an area of development near the south end of the new town, Mirador Maroc is a 30 minute walk or €1 taxi  ride from the ancient Medina with its wealth of shops and restaurants, and is very convenient for access to the beach with all its activities, including surfing, wind-surfing, kite-boarding, camel- and horse-riding, quad bikes and relaxing at the local beach cafes. 

As development proceeds, our area is gradually being improved and expanded with the addition of new hotels, cafes and shops.  At present, there is still building work in progress, and some parts of the streets remain roughly-surfaced.  The apartment and its rooftop terrace are a tranquil haven within this developing quarter.
